The Kewaunee County Economic Development Corporation (KCEDC) was formed because numerous community-minded leaders from both the public and private sectors recognized that a proactive approach to economic development must be taken.

In December 2004, a draft Business Plan was developed for KCEDC. In March 2005, an Executive Director was hired to implement the Business Plan and manage the day-to-day activities of KCEDC under the direction of the Board of Directors and with the assistance of KCEDC’s Ex-officio members and KCEDC’s Advisory Board. The Board of Directors, Ex-officio members and Advisory Board comprise the KCEDC Team.
